  • How long does wedding hair actually take?
You should allocate the following 1hr 30 mins for a bride - Prep and Styling 45 mins for each hair up 30 - 45mins for a blow dry I always finish all the hair about an hour before the bride needs to leave, this allows dressing and for me to do any touch ups and to make sure everybody is picture perfect before I leave,
  • When should I wash my hair?
I always suggest that you wash your hair the day or evening before the wedding and trial. This helps make the hair more pliable when styling. If you have an oily scalp and you are used to washing your hair everyday then I would suggest using a volume shampoo with a little to no conditioner on the morning of the wedding. I have also put together a hair prep gide that you can download from the Prices Page.
  • Should I have Wet or Dry hair on your arrival?
For blow drying I will require you to have wet hair For all other styles please have dry hair.

  • Why is wedding hair more expensive than Occassion hair?
I do get asked this a lot, the best way to exlain is simply the amount of work, admin, insurances, travel and products required to meet a wedding day expectation is almost double.
  • Where do you do trials?
I will always prefer you to come to the salon for a trial because I have all of the equipment, seating and lighting required.
  • How long is a trial?
You should allow for 3 hours for a trial.
